Objectives

Cancer has become one of the major health problems of the world and our country. For this reason, its importance is increasing day by day. The World Health Organisation (WHO) in a report released on cancer, in particular, the proportion of cancer patients in developing countries including Turkey, where it is projected to increase by 50% by 2020. As demonstrated by World Health Organisation data, it is a group of diseases that can be prevented at the rate of 40%, can be treated when caught early and when the right methods are used, and quality of life can be improved in advanced cases. Today, millions of people live with cancer or have been treated. The earlier the diagnosis is made, the sooner the treatment starts and the sooner the treatment starts, the higher the chance of success of the treatment. Eliminating risk factors such as those with a family history of cancer and false living habits and uncontrolled sunbathing, ensuring measures to be taken for protection and raising social awareness constitute the main axis of the social struggle against cancer. It can be protected against cancer by healthy living behaviours and life span can be extended by early diagnosis by screening programs. It is of great importance to create social awareness, especially to young people, and to protect young people against cancer. We wanted want to create a sense of healthy living for young people to prevent them in a way. We believe that this youth exchange also contributed to this awareness.
