Entrepreneurship for All is a specialized project for social inclusion and fostering access to entrepreneurship for all young people in the society. While economic participation can be very challenging for young people, its even more challenging for young people with disabilities. Even thoıugh there has been various measures supporting youth entrepreneurship such programs does not necessarily inclusive or accessible enough. On the other hand the typical approach is to design tools only for disabled people fostering segregation. Our project is dedicate to develop covering them all no matter they are disabled or not, however having important features for full accession. In this respect organisations with diverse experience on entrepreneurship learning and working with disabled people will b merged to develop innovative tools and methodologies on entrepreneurship accessible for all young people promoting joint learning programs. Objectives - to adopt and develop disabled friendly resources on entrepreneurship - to develop inclusive training methodologies on entrepreneurship more accessible for all young people including ones with any form of and level of disability - to promote disabled friendly tools and policies for entrepreneurship of disabled people at European level - To create a network for disabled entrepreneurs
The project is desires to achieve a strong awareness on entrepreneurship of disabled people, and how to strengthen the mechanisms promoting entrepreneurship towards a more inclusive approach. In this manner within the social model this project is dedicated to identify barriers for entrepreneurship and offer inclusive solutions/support to remove them in order to engage disabled young people to entrepreneurship ecosystem with specific objectives listed below: * to promote disabled friendly tools and policies for entrepreneurship of disabled people at European level * to adopt and develop disabled friendly resources on entrepreneurship * to develop inclusive training methodologies on entrepreneurship more accessible for all young people including ones with any form of and level of disability * to create a network for disabled people interested in entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship for All is a specialized project for social inclusion and fostering access to entrepreneurship for all young people in the society. Once it comes to an inclusive and cohesive society economic participation arises as one one the key challenges considering well being and welfare of any society. While economic participation can be very challenging for young people, its even more challenging for young people with disabilities. First of all there is a very common approach based on medical model for inclusion standing for providing various support for disabled people, which is not actually removing the barriers and foster independency of disabled young people and not really supporting them actualize their full potential as an independent On the contrary these approaches foster segregation. Therefore we did prefer to focus on ability rather than disability by only removing barriers preventing them to show their full potential. In this respect our project is designed to focus on economic participation of disabled people through entrepreneurship, where they can develop innovative projects to earn their own life and actualize their full potential as active and independent members of the society.
