New innovative curricula/educational methods/development of training coursesInternational cooperation, international relations, development cooperationSocial/environmental responsibility of educational institutions

Objectives

With this project, we pursued two main areas of development: Firstly, it was about the further development of content-related and methodological competences - especially in the areas of outdoor education and science didactics. Both areas of competence are important for our school focus on GUS (Gender - Environment - Social Issues) and should bring new impulses for our school activities and subject teaching as well as for the "Learning Workshop" established as a compulsory subject at Rahlgasse. The learning workshop combines interdisciplinary areas from mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry and handicrafts. This results in a scientific focus with a holistic and action-oriented approach. Secondly, we wanted to further expand our international network and contribute to the development of sustainable transnational cooperation. In concrete terms, the aim was to identify potential project partners who are interested in a future intensive cooperation within the framework of a strategic partnership. Thematically, we wanted to focus on the further development of our school priorities, especially on the topic of gender/diversity.

Background

With this project we wanted to contribute to the further development of our school focus "GUS" (Gender-Environment-Social) in accordance with the European Development Plan by enabling several teachers to develop their competences through international further training and exchange of experiences.
