The most important goal is clearly the improvement of English language skills and the natural use of the foreign language in an English-speaking context. Of course, the further internationalization of the students and graduates (two participants were high school graduates) and thus also the school was in the foreground. The expansion of entrepreneurship education, which is based on economic expertise, media and IT know-how and the language skills already mentioned, is essential for us. The young people should acquire key qualifications such as independence through their stay abroad and look beyond their own country and acquire the willingness to get involved with other cultures. Another goal is the practical implementation of the theoretical commercial knowledge learned at school in a job abroad. By working with the ADC College, we may have come a step closer to our goal of creating a network of companies that provide internships. The internships abroad also made an important contribution to increasing the quality and professionalization of the training.
Aa a school, the permanent improvement of language skills, including English, is very important to us. Through the increased use of CLIL in general subjects such as physics, history and geography, but also in commercial subjects (business administration, business behavior), we are laying the foundation for employability, studyability and entrepreneurship education for our graduates. We prepare our students for the global and international context and the challenges of global networking right from the start of their training and make them aware of cultural differences. Mobilities like this project are a great opportunity to deepen all these skills at once.
