Objectives

By participating in the mobilities, we wanted to upskill our staff in the field of digital skills to be able to offer better courses to our target groups. All three trainings addressed digital skills for the social sector, in particular: 1. Guiding the Social Sector to the Cloud The objective of this training was to be able to better support organisations as they migrate to cloud suites. Topics such as: help orgs understand the need and benefit of the transition to the cloud, help them identify and integrate appropriate productivity applications, and ensure they have solid training and procedures in place to make the most of these tools so they can increase efficiency and productivity. 2. Leading the Digital Transformation of the Social Sector The objective of this mobility was to understand the coming challenges of new technology and how to train more nonprofits with the digital skills they will need to operate in a digitized world. 3. Digital Marketing Skills for the Social Sector The objective of this training was to equip our staff with the skills to refine and improve their online communications and ensure their messages get heard in an increasingly complex information landscape and then be able to train others as well.

Background

The overall goal of all our programmes is to strengthen the third sector in Austria and beyond. As a training provider for the non-profit sector, we strive to continuously improve our programme and offer our course participants high-quality, contemporary training so they can better serve society as a whole and their often disadvantaged target groups. This is only possible if we also continue to educate ourselves. Especially in the area of digital skills, the requirements are constantly changing. It is important for us to continue our education in this area. Therfore we wanted to send our staff to training opportunities abroad to broaden their horizons, gain new perspectives with peers from other countries and develop their skills in the topic of digital education.
