Objectives

The aim of the project was to increase the quality of the seminar Glück(lich) in the classroom through newly acquired knowledge and to rework the seminar part "Happiness and Laughter" with the newly acquired knowledge.

Background

The project "Humor and laughter and its positive influence on learning and teaching" was carried out as a project to make a qualitative extension of an already existing seminar topic, which is already offered by the company Tanja Kaufmann in the seminar "Happy in the classroom". The aim of the project was to develop the contents again with more background knowledge about new knowledge in brain research and to build the bridge between the topic of humor and laughter and the topic of teaching and learning. For this purpose, two training courses should be attended in Germany: The first is a three-day course on laughter and learning, which brings a lot of basic knowledge and the connection to the classroom. The second course is the attendance of a two-day laughter yoga seminar, which expands the contents with practical exercises. The first training could not be attended (due to the corona crisis), the second was attended online. The acquired knowledge was incorporated into the existing seminar after the visit and on the basis of keynotes, newly revised scripts. Instructions for various exercises, which are then passed on at the seminar to an international audience that attends the seminars of the company Tanja Kaufmann.
