The aim was to start with the existing activities of the organizations and to carry out a transnational project to promote socially disadvantaged people through joint expertise in various areas. In doing so, people on the labor market, especially young disadvantaged people, older workers, the low-skilled and migrants, should be offered low-threshold educational opportunities. The content of this educational offer is the examination of the fundamental values of the European Union and human rights. Methodically, this was achieved through new approaches in educational work: By means of outdoor education, new media and learning with "all the senses", the low threshold of the educational offer could be achieved. In addition, international cooperation promoted the cross-border exchange of knowledge and jointly developed innovative ideas. This should strengthen European cohesion. Another aim was to make socially disadvantaged groups more visible and to raise awareness of their situation. In the course of the project, various civil society actors took part, which strengthened regional cohesion.
The aim of this project was to enable socially disadvantaged people to have low-threshold access to historical and political education. By means of creative educational opportunities, the learners were able to come to terms with the time of National Socialism. At the same time, an alternative to a fascist society and the idea of "equality of all people" should be strengthened by setting historical and current issues (human rights) in context. The project was intended to counteract the exclusion of educationally disadvantaged, socially disadvantaged people from the education and labor market. The basic aim of the project was to empower the target group through education, to promote their integration into social institutions and to strengthen the politics of remembrance about the time of National Socialist fascism.
