PROJECT JUSTIFICATION The project aimed to respond to the needs of the (local) youth in the areas of performing arts and creativity. This reality was even more evident in Salzburg due to the people's interest in classic art and culture, excluding the amateur and less classical where the youth people mainly belonged. OBJECTIVES/EXPECTED RESULTS Creation of 1 toolbox; Trial the toolbox & upload the Toolbox on the website (link: www.pyonline.eu). CREATION OF THE TOOLBOX The PERFORM YOURSELF ONLINE & OFFLINE project was supposed to support general innovation in education and training. So, the project partners were invited to add each tool to the toolbox. Every partner had to add into the toolbox a tool according to their expertise. So, it was established that: - ANEVE – Performance - Show production - MARK – Crafts supporting the Performance-Show production - Fattore K – Drama, Theatre & body expression – the contents of the Performance - Show - Lidi Solution – Creative Web solutions prepare the Performance/Show before and disseminate it after.
ADDRESSED NEEDS The primary addressed needs were the Early school leaving/combating failure in education and the ICT -new technologies-digital competencies: Concerning the EARLY SCHOOL LEAVING/COMBATING FAILURE IN EDUCATION we wanted to promote a project that would include young people facing societal alienation from the conventional educational system. Even more evident during the COVID-19 situation once they are unable to follow a normal lifestyle, like going to school, etc. WHY? The normal school system does offer possibilities according to their interests such as Arts and Creativity. The youth needed answers that matched their abilities and Interests to get motivated and cope with society and themselves during and after the COVID-19 paradigm. The COVID-19 pandemic has not only limited the way people can relate to each other and perform their most basic every-day-tasks but also resulted in a significant impact on the regular delivery of education, training, and youth policies. The partners involved have experience in using Arts as a tool to enhance creative thinking, strengthen confidence and empower people, especially youth.
