I had the idea of creating a group of teachers familiar with new digital techniques and able to share them with their colleagues. I wanted to create a little more enthusiasm in the practice of French as a foreign language at home. Many of our colleagues are not very well trained for French as a foreign language and do not like to teach it very much. So I was hoping to give them a few more tools to do that. Finally, I hoped that through these trainings we would create a few more interdisciplinary projects in our school, especially with our art colleagues, who immediately showed their interest in the project.
A colleague, a mathematics teacher, had set up the project and obtained the subsidies. Unfortunately, she lost her job at our school and was looking for someone to replace her. I volunteered and took over the project a few days before the start of the summer holidays. I was quickly contacted by Francophonia to set up training mobilities during the summer. I was very enthusiastic about the idea of learning new teaching techniques and also to collaborate with colleagues from all over the world.
