Objectives

The objectives of our European plan have been identified taking into account the size of our school, namely achievable objectives according to our means and the size of our structure. At school level, we wanted to revive the momentum within our school, which has been undermined by the Coronavirus; sustain our partnerships; encourage other options to embark on an Erasmus+ project; integrate Erasmus+ projects into our school plan. At the level of the Sales sector: allow students to work in structures different from those where they carry out their internships, in Belgium, during all their training. Indeed, when a student registers at Cefa and obtains an internship contract with a boss, he remains there until the end of his training. He therefore has no professional experience in another type of business. As regards roads, the ECIR FORMATION partner, as mentioned above, has been our partner since 2012. Students carry out their internships within the school. The equipment at their disposal is of a high professional level and allows our students to accomplish tasks that they do not have the opportunity to perform at home.

Background

This project set up by the Cefa of Namur, exists for many years. It is a project for two different training sectors: Sales and Roads. It worked very well until the moment the Coronavirus passed by. We had to put it aside for two long years but the recovery was more than beneficial, both for our students and for the teachers who actively participated. Through this project, we wanted to perpetuate our French partnership with, on the one hand, the ECIR FORMATION in Mallemort for Voiristes and, on the other hand, with the Regional University of Trades and Crafts - Antenna of the Tarn in Albi for Sellers (support partner who is in charge of contacting stores willing to welcome our students, in Albi). These are reliable partners, used to working with our Cefa for years, familiar with the internship conditions defined by the Erasmus + Programme and the socio-professional profile of our students. For our students, it was a project to broaden their fields of professional and socio-cultural experience and the acquisition of new skills.
