Within the program's strategic action plan, a number of important choices have been made in the context of internationalization. For this project, we have set four priority objectives. These objectives are based on the learning needs of the school. 1. To understand the different approaches to the concept of diversity and to improve the management of diversity and inclusiveness in school, classroom and internship settings. 2.Improve quality approaches and further implementation of quality thinking. 3.Gain insights about new teaching methods and adequately respond to future changes with the aim of adjusting the pedagogical process and further developing alternative learning paths (e.g. organisation of distance learning). 4. Gaining insight into the different types of leadership and optimizing leadership and soft skills.
The strategic action plan ongoing from 2018-2023 had as action "HBO across the border." This action proves that we want to significantly boost our educational quality through international cooperation. Given the success of Erasmus+ projects at our partner school and a positive experience, the Internationalization Working Group proposed to set up a new KA1 project that focused on lifelong learning in an international context. The main objective was to empower teachers to create the best learning opportunities for students, assess their own learning needs for this challenge, and take responsibility for their professional development. Teachers participating in mobilities can disseminate their observations and findings to the team and in the classroom. This project contributes to the quality of their profession, motivation for change and openness to European thought.
