Objectives

With the implementation of this project for our Accounting-Informatics and Computer Management students, we worked on the following objectives: - Need for self-reliance, to have the ability to function socially and participate in society; - Need for entrepreneurship within a broad society; - Need for European thinking, getting rid of "steeple mentality"; - Need for salmon effect, because now these are students from the so-called waterfall system. They often make the choice for these subject areas too thoughtlessly, not motivated enough, which often makes them difficult to motivate for activities within their specific subject area; - Need to develop language skills and meet the growing demands for intercultural and foreign-language communication in business.

Background

With this consortium project (GO! atheneum van Zelzate, Maldegem en Eeklo) "Fraternisation rules: the next level!", we have expanded our existing Erasmus projects. In the past, pupils from the VET departments already went to fraternisation congregations in France, Germany and Italy. In this case, it was specifically for pupils from the accounting - computer science and computer management department of the TSO. In this way, these pupils of GO! from Zelzate, Maldegem and Eeklo were also able to go on work placements abroad and join the other existing Erasmus+ dossiers, as it were.
