Teaching students independence, lab work, social skills, IT skills, group work and chemical knowledge. Also promoting themselves and drafting a job application letter. The students also learnt to be grateful. The students also learnt to live and live independently. The pupils also learnt about new cultures and dealing with customs they are not yet used to. Long-term contacts were also established with the partner schools to set up subsequent projects.
As a school, we participated not only to give the students an internship experience but also to broaden their view on Europe. A learning environment in which they can apply practical skills outside the classroom is very important for further studies or to broaden their view of the labour market. The students learned independence, planning and IT skills. They have this internship as a basis in their education anyway and choose this extra input by starting the internship abroad. In this way, they also work on their language, social skills and group work.
