Our project defined three objectives: (1) to provide INCLUSIVE QUALITY EDUCATION that is student-centered in order to better address our students' needs and be able to motivate and retain them and to help them to complete their educational career through life long learning (the core mission of our centre) in order to help them be successful in society and the job market, (2) to install a INQUISITIVE ATTITUDE amongst our teacher and encourage them to experiment with innovative, student-centered methodology and technology in order to increase the learning output of each single student and (3) to CELEBRATE THE DIVERSITY within our centre (143 different nationalities) and TO OPTIMIZE the use of diversity as a learning tool through the sharing of best practice with our international partners.
Our international exchange project SHARING INNOVATION FOR INCLUSION focuses on the needs identified amongst our students after a recent merger. We have extended the scope of our centre to include both Brussels and its Northern periphery, our student numbers have increased dramatically and their profile has changed significantly: from mainly highly educated to students looking for employment or a second chance in life.
