The aim of this project was to support and strengthen both teachers and coordinating profiles (in the first instance those who are responsible for the development of blended and online learning within the centre) of Catholic CVOs in their (new) role as teachers in a virtual environment with specific attention for the following domains: (1) strengthening the digital skills of adult education teachers, (2) mastering digital didactics, methodologies and tools, (3) setting up flexible digital learning paths, ( 4) further developing good e-content within digital learning paths, (5) coaching employees in a virtual space, (6) setting up professional learning communities in a virtual space, (7) coaching/supervising of professional learning communities in a virtual space and (8) leading the digital transition of organizations within the context of education.
This project aimed to strengthen teachers of adult education centers (CVO) in their digital skills by introducing e-didactics and courses centered on e-content creation. In this way they are prepared for the digital transition within education in general and adult education in particular. They learned the possibilities of using an LMS and the different blends in teaching through new technologies. The focus was, among other things, on new methodologies and the use of different tools with the main aim of strengthening them in their digital skills. Creating a learning community was a necessary condition for effective learning. This 'new' form of learning has resulted in CVOs attracting different target groups, especially in the case of 100% online learning. The people who coordinate the digital transition within their CVO have been strengthened by imparting insights on how to manage change processes through the necessary tools, because digital transition goes much further than just introducing IT tools within everyday teaching/classroom practice. We wanted to start an online professional learning community with stakeholders around this.
