The past internship project of Sint-Paulusschool campus VTI 1 "2020-1-BE02-KA116-074421" was a continuation of the project "2019-1-BE02-KA116-059976". It was specifically aimed at students from the 6th year Technical Secundary Education in the field of study of Car techniques and Wood techniques. In the curriculum of the 6th year Technical Secundary Education there is a compulsory internship of at least 2 weeks, with the aim of: - putting the acquired skills into practice, - gaining new technical knowledge and skills, -experiencing the real life in a company. We wanted to challenge 6 students from the 6th year Car techniques and 6 students from the 6th year Woodwork to do this internship abroad, in innovative companies that are situated at the top of the technological development and have a great experience in integrating education and business. We also wanted them to get acquainted with the Technical Secundary Education in the host country and compare it with ours.
The campus VTI Waregem (VTI 1 + VTI 2 Waregem) has a long tradition in the field of quality management (ISO certified since 1996). In response to the "Internship to Industry" project (http://www.gtc.com/i2i/), which provides a quality framework for mobility projects, the campus VTI Waregem started organizing internships abroad.
