We wanted to give our staff the opportunity to exchange with like-minded but also different-minded people in the hope of gaining valuable experiences and insights for their teaching and our school in general. Experiences which we could use internally and also implement if necessary. For this purpose, all participants agreed to share their newly gained knowledge within the school by exchanging ideas with their colleagues and/or by creating small teaching sequences which they made available to interested colleagues. There was also the possibility to initiate concrete measures that found direct application in everyday (school) life, such as improving the well-being of all school stakeholders in school. We saw/see the Erasmus+ project as another opportunity to further our school development.
The Pater Damian Secondary School has always tried to open up to new horizons, to give its staff the opportunity to further their education and possibly also get inspiration from other countries. Further training (also abroad) was and is of primary importance in our eyes, especially in the school system, precisely because the requirements here are in a constant state of change.
