By executing this project, we aimed to accomplish the following primary objective: to engage adolescents (from many backgrounds and socioeconomic strata) in the use of art to promote active citizenship, activities, and tools focused on strengthening their civic skills in order to not only empower them via the scope of the creative process but also in contributing to the non-formal education of other youths, therefore generating durable channels of lateral empowerment among youths. Art may encourage active citizenship in a variety of ways. By using artistic expression to investigate social and political topics, art may enhance community awareness and generate debates about crucial issues. It may also act as a forum for disadvantaged voices and underrepresented opinions to be heard and shared. Participating in the production of art, whether as an artist or as an audience member, may also help people to become more engaged with their surroundings and involved in their community. Through its capacity to evoke emotion and provoke critical thought, art may motivate individuals to take action and effect constructive social change. Our objective was for these participants to make a variety of artworks using a variety of techniques, including acting, music, producing art with rubbish, painting, spraypainting, video production, photography, and dancing, which they surely accomplished. The project's precise aims were as follows: 1. Using art as a cross-cultural learning and dialogue between participants from different countries, with the goal of fostering mutual understanding and tolerance; 2. Increasing young people's knowledge of different culture/history/religion; 3. Fostering young people's creativity and engagement in civic life by promoting Erasmus+ opportunities among them; 4.To bring together young people from many origins, nationalities, and cultures to discuss best practises in the intercultural conversation, democratic management of social diversity, and development of social cohesion. 5. To learn how to respect each viewpoint and dispel prejudices by evaluating and conversing with young people from various nations; 6. To promote good neighbourly relations between EU member states and non-EU states, and to provide a place for friendship and partnership via art and culture. Unfortunately this objective faced some disruptions due to the Ukraine - Russia war. However, the partner switch from Belarus to Georgia was successful. This project is very relevant to the particular purpose of the Erasmus+ programme: Improve the level of key competencies and skills of youth, including those with fewer opportunities, and promote participation in democratic life in Europe, active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, social inclusion, and solidarity, in particular by expanding learning mobility opportunities for youth, those active in youth work or youth organisations, and youth leaders.
