By participating in the current European mobility, we aimed to increase the skills of teachers to: - Use modern innovative elements in the learning process, - Organize a more interesting and adaptable environment to the expectations of the students; - Use digital tools and social platforms in the learning process; - Master methodologies for successful integration of students from different ethnic groups and disadvantaged students, to develop social and civic competence and cultural awareness in students and to reduce manifestations of aggression. These goals are linked and lead to one common outcome - increased quality of education we offer and increased student and parent confidence and engagement in the learning process.
The "Opportunities for all" project was initiated according to our European Development Plan, based on an analysis of the situation, strengths and weaknesses of our school, as well as opportunities for improvement. The aspiration for a comprehensive modernisation and transformation of the educational spheres through the means of ICT and the enhancement of ethnic, social and multicultural tolerance were among the main motives to develop and implement this project. Through this project we have stated our aim to address the following needs: - to improve the qualification of the staff regarding the use of ICT in the learning process and to modernise and adapt the curricula to the current requirements; - to learn working models to increase tolerance and gain experience in dealing with aggression from our European colleagues; - to prevent pupils from leaving school early and not wanting to continue their education. One of the most important tools to address these needs was the up-skilling of teachers in these areas, as they are at the heart of delivering quality education.
