With the implementation of this project we planned to increase the skills of our teachers in several directions. Modern education should be based on the practice and requirements of the dynamic technological environment. STEAM is one of the approaches that can help to achieve the integration of theory into practice, to create an environment in which the child will be his/ her own teacher, researcher and traveler in the fields of science. STEAM recognizes the fact that the constant advancement of technology is changing the way children learn, connect with others and interact with each other every day. Our expectation was that after such training, teachers would acquire skills to break the framework and to understand that the training goes beyond the boundaries of the school; They will learn how to support children in exploring their interests and talents, to be creative in our lessons, making them fun and interesting, to teach skills the way they will be used in the real world. Through their participation in this project, the teachers were also introduced to effective practical approaches to prevent and limit aggression in the school and the understanding and implementation of inclusive education.
Given the dynamic development of the educational system and the intensive penetration of high technologies in the process of education and communication, our high school defines as one of the main needs the improvement of the competences of pedagogical specialists, the constant introduction and use of the latest teaching methods and tools, new information technologies and electronic platforms, improving the language skills of teachers in different subjects and improving the organization of the learning process. We believe that the Erasmus+ program offers very good opportunities to achieve these goals. The main goal of our strategy is to continuously improve the quality of education we offer. The way to achieve this goal is the continuous upgrading of staff skills, an increase in their ambition for "Lifelong Learning" and their self-confidence regarding their own capabilities. The team strives not only to provide high-level education, but also to enable access to it to all children. The school, in addition to educational services, should also provide a peaceful and secure environment for all participants in the educational process.
