One of the major problems of EU is youth employment. In September 2018, the President of the ECB stated: "With nearly one fifth of young people out of work, the capacity for innovative development in Europe can be harmed, its integrity is at risk and trust in public institutions can be undermined. The EU it must tackle high youth unemployment to protect democracy, public confidence and growth. " According to official figures for 2019, 4.2 million young people (up to 25 years old), with the largest being in: Greece 47.4% in, Spain 44.4% in, Italy 37.8% in, France 24 , 7%, etc. Eurostat also notes that youth unemployment in rural areas is almost 2 times higher, reaching 80% in certain areas. This enhances the migration of young people to major cities and other EU countries and leads to depopulation of rural areas. At the same time, there are many young people in big cities who are eager to move back to rural areas, but are finding it difficult to find employment. At the local level, this is confirmed by our (GREEN Association) local survey in the municipalities of Polski Trambesh and Pavlikeni about the main reasons for migration of our peers to big cities and abroad - the main reason 64% is the lack of opportunity for professional realization. . After long reflection, we see as the main obstacles to the development of independent business activity by young people - the difficulty in generating a good entrepreneurial idea, the lack of entrepreneurial skills and the difficulty in finding financing. Consulting our new friends from MITTETULUNDUSUHING NOORED UHISKONNA HEAKS Estonia, Stowarzyszenie Sztukater Poland, ASOCIATIA TINERILOR CU INITIATIVA CIVICA Romania, ACTIVE CITIZENS OF MEDITERRANEA Greece, with representatives At EU level, we have come to the conclusion that one of the ways of successful employment and staying in rural areas is the development of independent business by young people. To meet our identified needs, we have prepared this project, which is also our second attempt to apply for external funding (the first was unsuccessful). In developing the project idea, we consulted with the HRCM and became involved in Webinar KD1, 2 and 3, Youth, 01/22/2020. This project "Youth employment in rural areas through entrepreneurship" was written by 3 young people from Bulgaria, 3 young people from Estonia, 2 young people from Greece and one young person from Poland, and Romania, with the support of 2 youth workers from the GREEN Association and is aimed at young people. The chosen theme of youth employment in rural areas through entrepreneurship is definitely of interest to all participants, because it combines both the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and the development of practical skills for entrepreneurship, both of which are applicable in the process of employment and start-up of independent business activity. Project goals: - To discuss the possibilities for successful employment of young people in rural areas through youth entrepreneurship; - To improve the entrepreneurial skills and knowledge of participants in starting up an independent business in rural areas, using European tools, by applying non-formal education techniques and methods; - To generate 5 ideas for youth start-ups in rural areas and develop 5 realistic business plans from project participants; - To promote youth entrepreneurship in rural areas as an opportunity for young people to remain in rural areas. The project "Youth employment in rural areas through entrepreneurship" contributes to the specific objectives of Erasmus + in the Youth sector: 1. "to improve the level of key competences and skills of young people, including those with fewer opportunities, and to promote their participation in the democratic life of Europe and their participation in the labor market, their active citizenship, intercultural dialogue , social inclusion and solidarity, in particular through greater educational mobility opportunities for young people, youth workers or youth organizations and leaders, and by strengthening the links between youth and the market but at work "; 2.
