After more than four years of drama on 29 January 2020, the European Parliament voted to BREXIT, which allowed the United Kingdom to leave the European Union on 31 January 2020 at 23:00. Brexit is one of the most significant events in The 21st century as the first effective activation of Article 50 of the Treaty of Lisbon, and the first successful departure of the European Union by a Member State. The exit of the UK is a blow to the faith of even the most optimistic citizens in the EU and will surely have an impact on Union policy for years. In addition to the very act of leaving the UK from the EU, Brexit has become a generator of tension, exacerbating Euro-pessimism, and in a number of countries there has been talk of their excitement - Grexit (leaving the EU from Greece) and Polsit (leaving the EU from Poland). As a result of Brexit and the details of the EU-UK border policy, as well as the opportunities for free movement of goods, services and capital, as well as our partners in the current project, we are systematically receiving questions from our peer youth about opportunities travel to the UK, continuing education in the UK (some of the best colleges and universities are there), business opportunities in the UK, etc. n. The presence of all these questions shows a strong interest from young people. Following the topic together with our partners from ASSOCIAÇÃO NOVO MUNDO AZUL, Portugal ASOCIATIA EDULIFELONG, Romania and MITTETULUNDUSUHING NOORED UHISKONNA HEAKS, Estonia and receiving so many inquiries from young people, we decided to open this project for young people, cause and effect, while promoting european values, foster a sense of belonging to a large EU family among project participants. Main goals: 1. To conduct a youth exchange aimed at discussing Brexit and its consequences through the eyes of young people; 2. To promote European values and promote a sense of belonging to a large EU family among young people; 3. To create a good practice for discussing Brexit in a protected environment, which will then be described and transformed into a training model for young people. The project is related to the main objective of the Erasmus + program to achieve the goals set out in the 2019 Sibiu Declaration, the Sofia Declaration 2018, the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU, the Lisbon Treaty, the Europe 2020 objectives, the objectives of the strategic framework for European cooperation and the Rome Declaration The project contributes to the achievement of the 1, 2, 4 specific objectives of Erasmus + CD1 Youth (see page 30 of the 2020 Program Guide) by directly leading to: - improving the level of key competences and skills of young people, including those with fewer opportunities, and promoting their participation in the democratic life of Europe and their participation in the labor market, their active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, social inclusion and solidarity , in particular through greater educational mobility opportunities for young people, youth workers or youth organizations and leaders, and by strengthening the links between youth and the market of labor; - improving the quality of youth work, in particular through enhanced cooperation between youth organizations and / or other stakeholders; - enhancing the international dimension of youth activities and enhancing the capacity and support of professionals and organizations working with young people, in addition to the external action of the European Union, in particular by promoting mobility and cooperation between stakeholders from program countries, and partner countries and international organizations.
