MAIN OBJECTIVE was to add value and achieve high quality of VET by acquiring, expanding and applying good European practices in the field of low-energy construction for learning through work in a real environment. Other goals we wanted to achieve were: 1. Rapid integration into the labor market through building envelope, AutoCAD and teamwork skills. 2. Improving language skills; broadening horizons and motivation for lifelong learning. 3. Improving the qualifications of VET teachers and accompanying persons to increase the attractiveness and innovation of the training. 4. Increasing the motivation of graduates of professional education in the field of green construction. 5. Increase the practical orientation of the training by mastering multitask assignments. 6. Motivation for continuous improvement and lifelong learning. 7. Preparation of qualified personnel, oriented to regional and national priorities, but also adequate to the changing European labor market. 8. Increasing the capacity and internationalization of PGSAG"A. Popov"
In accordance with the Mobility Charter and the internationalization strategy, the ambition of PGSAG "Angel Popov" was to promote international mobility as a tool defining the European vision of the school and improving the opportunities of young people for successful inclusion and realization in the labor market. Our proposal was aimed at towards acquiring competences for low-energy construction, since people in Bulgaria live mainly in old buildings and improving their energy efficiency is a major problem. The transition to low-energy buildings requires measures to increase the qualifications of the workforce. Through this project, PGSAG is more ready to meet the needs of the labor market by providing non-professional education that meets the requirements of business. The project "Low-energy construction = guarantee for the future" lasted 27 months and aimed to adapt VET to match innovation, technological development and the changing needs of society and to ensure practical training and competitiveness in the European labor market, together with Komzet, Cottbus and BragaMOB, Braga.
