Beneficiaries need to raise their professional experience and competencies and adopt innovative practices based on the European experience of the countries - project partners, Spain and Italy and to implement them in Bulgaria, in particular in The Vocational School of Trade and Catering. The main purpose of this draft was the formation of practical skills and creative ideas during the educational mobility- practice of 2 groups of 20 students and vocational training of 2 groups of 10 teachers in European countries with established experience in the restaurant and hotel industry. As a result, student and teacher engagement and satisfaction increased. A successful mobility abroad is a prerequisite for applying the acquired knowledge and skills and the experience gained by the students in the development of a competitive business. Following the need to increase competences in the field of restaurant industry, the application of new teaching methods and improvement of the curricula for training of students, as well as the acquisition of experience in a real working environment, our school implemented the experience acquired in the partner organizations from the realized mobility. European partnership improved the school management.
The mission of The Vocational School of Trade and Catering is to achieve higher education and to prepare students for the challenges of the 21st century. Top priorities of our school are to graduate highly educated students, to serve the interests of business and to respond to the general trends in the development of the labor market in the region. Our team aims to motivate students to lifelong learning. This can only be achieved with highly educated, creative and innovative teachers.The implementation of the project "Innovations and creativity for a successful career" included two main activities: 1. Mobility of 40 students - 2 groups of 20, in the period: from 27.06.-10.07.2021 in Tenerife, Spain and from 29.06.-11.07.2022 in Rome, Italy. 2. Mobility of 20 teachers - 2 groups of 10, for training purposes - work observation in restaurants, institutions and other organizations in the field of VET, professional seminars and professional visits. The mobility took place in the period: from 04.07-10.07.2021 in Puerto de la Cruz, Spain and from 05.07-11.07.2022 in Rome, Italy. Gained European experience is a prerequisite for achieving our goals. The project partners were Temis Education, Tenerife, Spain and Italy for you, Rome, Italy.
