Objectives

By implementing this project, we tried to give to our students of our College the amazing opportunity to have training abroad in order to be exposed to other methods and practices used elsewhere in Europe in order to get valuable experiences of this interaction. We do believe that it is very important to give to students the opportunity to have training either in similar vocational institutions or in enterprises abroad. Also, we wanted to give to students the opportunity to have training either in similar vocational institutions or in companies abroad. It is expected that by participating in training activities abroad, students will gain valuable experience in their field of study and that they will have the opportunity to meet potential employers. Moreover, we do believe that through such experiences, possible professional opportunities can be created at a local as well as European Level. In addition, by meeting other young people and establishing friendships with them, students contribute to the European integration. The selection of students based on their wish to participate and their overall performance. However, in the programme they participated 3 students only.

Background

This project was one of the Erasmus+ projects that served the aims of the cooperation of European countries in further developing and modernizing their VET systems by mutual interaction. Furthermore, as we continuously support the personal and professional development of our students and our staff, we strongly believe in the idea of Erasmus+ Programme. As Erasmus+ Programme supports and rewards the professional and career development of people working in vocational education and training (VET) through training periods in a foreign country, we are trying as a College to give this opportunity to both students and staff. Undoubtedly, as an Erasmus Office we always try to promote the positive impacts of the Erasmus+ Programme. Moreover, as our College is a vocational educational institution, our goal is to offer the most valuable and useful experiences to the students in terms of their practice during their studies. By enriching their experiences and learning by hands- on experience, we are positive that the students of KES College will be more dedicated as future professionals and that the mobilities will enable a smoother access into the labour market.
