Our primary objective was to give the opportunity to our students to work in a European union country within a multi cultural environment. We wanted our students to meet new people, gain working experience, learn new skills, gain new knowledge and develop their competences. We wanted our students to get this first experience working in a European working environment. Also, for our staff to participate in training abroad to develop their job related skills and learn new skills and methodologies to implement in their teaching style. It is important our teachers to be constantly educated and be updated with good teaching practices. We wanted our teachers to learn and bring back knowledge from other European colleague.
The longer term benefit of this project is for our school is to establish a solid cooperation with European Institutions in the field of VET and also to establish our school a quality educational and training organization. Our school has organized many Erasmus+ projects in previous years and the benefits were massive. Participanσt have improved their personal and soft skills, self-confidence, intercultural understanding and maturity due to their time spent abroad. We wanted to continued develop our teaching staff with new teaching methods. Our target is to send as many teachers we can at seminars with European colleagues in order to learn and exchange teaching techniques. But most important our priority it is our students. Having the opportunity to travel and work abroad it was an unforgettable experience. It was a great experience to learn working in a multinational environment with different cultures.
