The Foundation’s main goal is to provide psychological, social, emotional, educational and professional education and training to adults with intellectual disabilities, with the ultimate goal their independence and their integration in society. Achieving maximum autonomy in their work and social life is essential for both the trainees themselves, as well as for their parents and their social environment. The Foundation wants the staff participating in this program to acquire the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities, which will be used every day, resulting in their inclusion in the educational/therapeutic program of the Foundation. The modernization of therapeutic training methods through continuous staff training is an important goal, as it enhances the therapeutic and educational programs of the Foundation. The upgrade of these programs has a direct impact on the Foundation's trainees, as the knowledge gained will be used in their training.
The Foundation's vision is to offer services based on modern concepts for the education and social rehabilitation of people with intellectual disabilities. The Foundation, therefore, wants its personnel to be able to offer the best educational techniques and methods available. Through this program the Foundation wanted to offer its personnel the possibility of education and training in new practices and methods offered in other European countries. In addition, through this program, the Foundation’s personnel are given the opportunity for European mobility and cooperation with other organizations, similar to the Foundation. The Foundation seeks new, innovative and creative education and training techniques both in the field of creative employment, so as to enrich the Foundation's workshops with new product creation ideas, and in the field of educational and therapeutic programs it provides. Also, the Foundation is looking for collaborations with Foundations, Organizations or even Training centres, in various European countries, to enrich and promote an intercultural ethos in the Foundation.
