The main goal was to extend the specialised education of our staff in the area of teaching students with special needs. We need to be more openminded when educating those students together with the regular ones. Secondary goal has been improving of the public prestige of our school and make it more attractive for future employees.
The decision to start the project came with the current trend of inclusive education. The number of students with special needs is getting higher at our school. Although we use specialised courses organised for teachers in the Czech Republic, we felt the need to extend our knowledge behind the border and to get other points of view from the international teachers’ community / different educational systems.
