We planned to improve our educators language competencies by sending them to take part in language courses held in English speaking countries. We decided to contribute to our school goal of creating conditions for our students better position in the European labour market indirectly by improving the language and teaching skills of our employees, which should lead to the development of these abilities even in our pupils. We planned to fulfill the goal of using modern communication tools by having students and staff use these tools (Facebook, Skype, blog on the school website) to share their experiences with our students and staff, not only during their stay, but also after their return . Language courses increased the professional value of our employees, their usefulness in the educational process and enable us to participate in international activities of a professional nature to a greater extent and quality (professional internships of pedagogues, professional practice of students, school cooperation). Methodical courses for language teachers deepened their professional knowledge and skills and enrich the teaching in our school by the fact that the teachers use the new skills and methods acquired in the courses.
The goal of our organization in the field of mobilities and cooperation is the deepening and enlarging the cooperation with the European schools attended by pupils with disabilities. That is why we strive to our employees be highly qualified and working efficiently and we would like to share our experience with other Europian educators and widen our horizons gaining new experience and knowledge from our European colleagues. That will help us to fulfill our school longterm development goals, mainly the goal of deepening of international professional cooperation of our school.
