Our aim was among others to develop and improve language and IT competences of teachers, to introduce new methods into the learning process (CLIL, tandem teaching, sharing experience, jobshadowing), further development of intercultural competences of teachers and pupils through mobilities, to continue in the process of internationalization by continuous work on international projects, to use the newest tools in education with the help of IT, to support education also in the field of language and management skills, to prevent the burn-out syndrom, to motivate towards further activities, to increase language competences of pupils by gradual implementation of CLIL method in non-language subjects.
Mobilities for our staff were designed to to make their work more effective and to support their initiative. We have chosen those mobilities which correspond to the school needs – specialised structured language courses, methodology courses for language teachers, CLIL, jobshadowing. We wanted to introduce innovative procedures, methods and forms of work as well as alternative elements in lessons. Our motivation was to increase language competences, higher activation and motivation of staff for further work in international and national projects with the aim to extend the offer of extracurricular activities and actions following the education process. We wanted to allow teachers to get to know new cultures, history and traditions of involved countries and to broaden horizons, to get international perspective and lifelong exprerience which they can pass on to students.
