The goals of the project described below were based on one main goal, which was: Capture the most suitable modern teaching methods in (mostly) basic foreign schools, which have a similar direction as our institution. In our opinion, the ideal way to achieve this is to be a direct part of the teaching and observe more experienced colleagues, how they teach, how they react to children and the situations that arise during teaching, what works, what teachers use in teaching, what they prefer to eliminate, etc. That is why we used of this project and we set out on a total of 5 mobilities focused on job shadowing, which could fulfill our goals as best as possible. With the stated goal, we also described the following related goals in the application: before the mobility - language skills of the participants + travel logistics, after the mobility - preparation of SWOT analyzes of the participants and implementation of acquired knowledge and skills, methodologies in the framework of teaching in Bambi Kindergarten and Primary School. Also sharing results with colleagues and the public. All these objectives were met.
We applied for the project because of the effort to further develop our institution, the Kindergarten and now also the Bambi Primary School in Humpolec. We wanted to draw inspiration from abroad, follow the methods and forms of work of colleagues in other European countries, and subsequently implement the best of them in our kindergartens and elementary schools. At the time of submitting the project (approx. 3 years ago), the situation was somewhat different - we had a working kindergarten and we were preparing to open a primary school, which would be based on the same principles as a kindergarten - i.e. montessori style of teaching, leading children to cooperation, especially independence, learning autonomy, internal motivation, creativity. Now our private primary school has been successfully operating for 2 years, it enjoys the interest of children and parents, the teaching team is constantly expanding. The methods and forms of work that we acquired during several mobilities within the framework of this project are successfully included not only in the teaching of primary school, but also in the functioning of kindergarten. We therefore evaluate the result of this Erasmus+ project more than positively.
