The main objectives of the project, as defined in the 2020 application, were to: Increase student motivation and engagement during foreign language learning in order to achieve better outcomes; To improve the preparation and motivation of language teachers, leading, for example, to the creation of their own teaching materials; Change the system of (self)assessment of pupils - introduction of new forms of assessment, especially formative assessment in the area of languages; Gaining additional experience with the implementation of European projects/international cooperation and useful contacts within the European schools network.
This project is the second in a row that ZŠ Weberova implemented. The main reason why it was announced was the good experience with the previous project, the current needs of our pupils in the field of language education and the need to improve the competence of our teachers by adopting new methods/procedures (including assessment) and by inspiration in partner schools.
