The main goal of this project was to improve language competences teachers of vocational subjects, members of school counselling centre RaDoSt (general English and German language). Furthermore, it was the strengthening of the professional language skills of the English language teacher, the teacher of economic subjects and the Leader of the Centre for Projects, Promotion and Further Education (English language). The goal of shadowing in partner organizations was primarily to obtain new information from foreign practice and, through the subsequent implementation of examples of good practice, to increase the quality of education and work within counselling (prevention, educational and career counselling). The teaching stay in Poland aimed to strengthen cooperation between schools and increase the competence of work in an international environment. The teaching stay was a follow-up to the shadowing that took place a few years ago.
Our school, Secondary Technical School, Business Academy and Secondary Medical School Chomutov, is active within international cooperation, not only in Erasmus+ program but in other as well. The school has set up International Strategy of ESOZ, which is actualized regularly. In order to fulfill the goals, it is necessary to maintain, deepen and increase the current qualifications of the school staff, who work not only in the school management and in the school's advisory bodies, but also in the direct preparation of students for future occupations.
