The project of this school had three basic targets. 1 The improvement of language skills of teachers, which would result in obtaining the language level B1 for teachers of special subjects and consequently using information from foreign language materials in an easier way. Better skills should help other cooperation among teachers at school and from schools in foreign countries. 2 Modernisation in education of foreign languages was connected with using new educational methods and attitudes and sharing experience with the others. Not only new language materials, but even new ICT tools, materials for lessons of business English and support of reading literacy was a part of this project. 3 Finding partners who will help to develop students´ skills owing to common work on projects was the third target, because support of project activities is one of priorities of other school development. International workshops should have been an optimal possibility how to find new partners, how to be inspired by the examples of good practice for project activities and how to share experience.
The key need of The European plan of development for Business Academy of T. G. Masaryk is to form such conditions of studies for students to be successful at labor market and during their studies at universities. Considering these facts it is necessary to have well-educated teachers and the long-lasting target of the school is other education of pedagogical staff, because they must be able to react to current changes in the society. The teaachers participated in the project We want to be a moderrn Europen school to improve their language skills and to be able to use new information from materials in foreign languages and to work with them in their lessons. The most appropriate possibility for this is staying abroad which is connected with learning foreign languages and sharing information and gaining new explerience connected with new nethods and attitudes as well. Moreover, it is the opportunity to meet teachers form other countries and start with international cooperation, which means other personality development of teachers and the development of many key students´ skills.
