The goal of the project was to increase the quality of students' vocational training through internships in foreign organizations. Internships in foreign companies should develop the professional knowledge, skills and competences of the project participants in the field of business, trade, services, marketing and administration, contribute to gaining work experience, support the development of intercultural competences and communication skills in English, increase work mobility, develop personality, adaptability, independence and enable participants to gain life experience.
We wanted to use the project as a tool to fulfil the goals set in the European Development Plan of our school. We wanted to strengthen the international cooperation of the school and develop our activities in the field of mobility. The intention was to use the project to increase the quality of teaching, especially in the area of vocational and language training of students, to connect teaching with practice and to strengthen the European dimension in education at our school. We wanted to bring knowledge and experience from abroad that will help us raise the level of teaching of vocational subjects, foreign languages and project-based teaching and improve the quality of student preparation with regard to the current needs of the labour market. We wanted to improve our use of European mobility tools (Europass Mobility and ECVET) and ensure pan-European recognition of the results of our students' vocational internships. We also wanted to use the project to strengthen the prestige and good name of the school and as a tool to support students' interest in studying at our school and the interest of social partners in cooperation.
