In regard to our student development, the following goals were set: - enable our students to get acquainted with Spanish cuisine and local gastronomic specialities - enable our students to learn about how foreign companies/factories are run and structured - enhance the students' linguistic abilities in English and Spanish - deepen the students' professional knowledge and skills In regard to our staff development, the following goals were set: - gain new experience with project management - increase our school's publicity and atractivity - use the ECVET system during project management - form new partnerships abroad - deepen the school staff's professional knowledge and skills
In our first two strategic areas (recruitment of new students and cooperation with foreign companies) we prioritised supporting our students to travel abroad during their studies at our school. Regarding our third and fourth strategic areas (school equipment and school staff), we considered it important for our European activities to enable linguistic and professional development. In addition, we put an emphasis on finding internship experience which would provide work with various new technologies (i.e. IT, bakeries, milk factories, restaurants) that could later be practically implemented at our school. We also felt the need to enhance our staff development and establish a project manager position at our school. The above mentioned macro and micro aspects prompted us to file this project application.
