Objectives

The school has set several goals: Professional exper. abroad should enrich the work profile of the student/graduate and give it an advantage over other job seekers in the given field. Experience with mobilit. should contribute to easier handling of complex situations associated with inter. projects and strengthen the ability to take responsibility for decisions in unpredictable contexts. The internship should strengthen language skills and eliminate the stress of not mastering a foreign language. Short-term staff internships should provide space for monitoring innovative practices, both in the protection of monuments and in the management system or the organization of teaching. The school is committed to providing the doc. about the internship - Europass Mobility and ECVET. VOŠ has set itself the goal of organizing a meeting with EURES staff for future graduates who would be interested in working in one of the EU or EEA member countries. A functioning multicultural environment should provide space for the education of more humane-minded personalities. The implementation of mobil. works as a fight against prejudices against the differences of another culture. Mobility is a very valuable experience for participants in this regard.

Background

Our country is part of the European Union and therefore we want to prepare graduates not only for employment in the Czech Republic, but anywhere in Europe. The possibility of foreign mobility forms the backbone of the long-term plan to increase the overall level of education at the Higher Professional School. The intention of the management of the Higher Professional School is stable cooperation with foreign institutions, which would enable a permanent offer of internships or jobs abroad. The school has been systematically organizing foreign mobilities since 2011, this is not an accidental diversification of studies. It participates in long-term projects with some institutions (e.g. the Goering Institute). Strengthening cross-border cooperation between the school and business environment and reducing unemployment in the region, all of this follows on from the strategic plans of South Moravian Region, the founder of the school.
