Objectives

The aim was to enable students to travel abroad and gain valuable professional and linguistic and social experience. The aim was also to make vocational education more attractive, increase the employability of IT students, motivate them to further self-education and contribute to improving the quality of education. By disseminating good examples, we wanted to motivate lower levels of schools to do similar activities. Another goal was to acquire practical tasks, use them to enrich the teaching of vocational subjects and graduation seminars and to provide them to other vocational schools. We planned to use presentations, tutorials and articles created in a foreign language during the internship and preparatory courses to promote a high level of Czech technical education in other EU countries. The aim was to enable students to work on real contracts and monitor the organization of work. The aim was also to expand cooperation with regional companies, to offer the possibility of developing similar contracts for companies and institutions in the Pardubice region, to increase the interest of companies in accepting students in practice, and to use the experience of staff involved in project implementation.

Background

With this project, we wanted to contribute to the identification of methods and tools that the school should include in the educational process, to specify how new technologies are applied in production and services, to determine what material equipment we need and how to train teachers to master new methods. At the same time, we wanted to obtain information on various forms of cyber danger and cyberbullying and information on the degree of compliance with or violation of the rules of safe conduct. The school needs to know the possibilities of risk prevention, the project was to help find out what the methods of prevention are in other EU countries. The project was also intended to help identify labor market requirements so that the school could adapt its curricula to technical developments and meaningfully create new fields of study. We also wanted to motivate students for education and self-education and teachers to innovate. We also wanted to verify that the education we provide is sufficient, advanced and progressive. Because companies prefer candidates with previous experience and professional experience, we wanted to enable students to gain their next practical experience, evidenced by a certificate, Europass Mobility and ECVET.
