The main aim of the project was the implementation of short-term and long-term PTPs in Germany. It was a natural response to an increasing demand for foreign PTPs by the Czech high schools and also to a need for development of partnership relations between the Czech Republic and Germany in general. Based on above mentioned, the main objective of the PTP project was to increase the number of short-term and long-term internships of students and the quality of knowledge of high school students.
The Cross-border Technical Cooperation 2020–2022 project has been prepared by a consortium of 5 subjects such as secondary schools which are based in 4 regions. The project was coordinated by the Czech-German Youth Exchange Coordination Centre Tandem which is a body of The University of West Bohemia. The project follows up on the 23-year tradition of successful projects which have been carried out in Germany and which are financially supported by a Czech-German Future Cooperation Fund and also by Erasmus+ program.
