The main goal of the project was to increase the adaptability and improve the professional skills and competences of our pupils and improve their application on the European labor market. It also focused on their language skills development, specifically the English language. The project was aimed at getting to know the work environment and employment in other European countries, getting to know different work methods, work procedures and establishing professional contacts. As part of the project, we also sought to update the professional competences of our educators and create a methodology for practicing falls from a horse. Our next goal was to establish contacts with new partner organizations.
Our school applied for the Erasmus+ project based on previous good experiences. Our school applied for the Erasmus+ project based on previous good experiences with foreign internships. Our organization is the only Czech high school focused on horse racing. For this reason, it is difficult for us to draw inspiration for development in organizations in the Czech Republic. We perceive the need to expand the portfolio of knowledge and experience of our pupils not only with new approaches in the field, but also with other disciplines of equestrian sports. We care a lot about the high level of professional competence of our graduates and their applicability on the national and international labor market. This is primarily based on information from our foreign partners about the lack of workers in the horse racing sector. Our motive was also to increase the outlook of our teachers and their professional and linguistic experience.
