We increased the competencies of 23 youth workers and raised their capacities to address the elements of media literacy in their work with young people, to make young people understand such elements as fake news, and disinformation, and equip them with the competencies needed to develop media content on issues that matters to them. Moreover, we focused on exploring the link between various societal issues and media and social media, and its impact on youth development. We encouraged the participants to share and exchange tools addressing media, social media, developing digital competence of young people that can be used in a wider context e.g., to increase the chances of young people in the job market by developing their skills to use digital tools and platforms to look for jobs, to present themselves, to raise capacities of the organizations to use digital tools such as canva.com, Asana to work more effectively, to create visual content for their projects, campaigns. Furthermore, the project 'Media Sapiens: Training Course on Media Literacy for Youth Workers' aimed to increase the capacities of participating organizations to work on an international level in the framework of the Erasmus Programme and to give to 'Mission: Reconnect, z.s.', as a newcomer organization a chance to create new contacts, networks and set the base for future projects.
