Objectives

The aim of the project was to contribute to the support of young people (including young people with limited opportunities) in an active approach to their career life. Our message, both when writing the application, during the preparation of the project, its implementation and subsequent steps, was clear: Realize your ideas, live a fulfilled work and personal life and contribute to a better society. With the project, we wanted to contribute to increasing the number of young, socially responsible entrepreneurs and youth workers who can support young people in their journey to entrepreneurship and a successful, happy life. At the same time, we, as an informal group of young people, wanted to develop our competences in business and be useful members of society. The practical aim of this training course was to develop in young people and youth workers the competencies and attitudes that will help them live and develop fulfilled, productive and successful lives. All this with an emphasis on orientation towards small socially responsible business. The partial goal was to outline methods for the effective transfer of these competences further, including hard skills (e.g. finding and defining a business idea that fits the given individual, project management, creating a marketing strategy, creating a business plan) and soft skills (presentation skills, leadership, effective communication, creativity, working in an international team and others). Another goal of the project was also learning about new cultures and opinions and increasing cultural and interpersonal understanding. At the same time, we are aware that not all participants or people with whom the participants of our course work in their youth work will actually start a business. Our goal was therefore also to show that entrepreneurship and the competences that people acquire while developing it have a very positive effect on obtaining a good and satisfactory job.
