Objectives

The goals were set according to the SMART method, they were prioritized, a team was assembled for their implementation and they were continuously evaluated during the course of the project. Based on these continuous evaluations, we adjusted the structure of activities leading to their fulfillment. Their original wording was as follows: - increasing the level of students' qualifications in the studied field and developing their work ethic - increasing pupils' cultural and social awareness of EU countries and developing their ability to live in an inclusive and culturally diverse environment - increasing the number of pupils and graduates who visit EU countries for work/job opportunities following the activities within the project - verification of the language competences of pupils and teachers - development of cooperation with foreign partners - companies and schools - improving the quality of the teaching of professional subjects in our organization (Professional development of employees)

Background

The project plan of our organization followed the Action Plan of the Internationalization Strategy, which fully reflects the needs of the school in the field of practical vocational education of pupils and teachers of vocational subjects. After its amendment, the action plan reflected more the changes and needs of professional education. Foreign professional internships are part of the strategy for the development and modernization of vocational education and are integrated into the practical education of pupils in the 3rd and 4th grades at our school. Another impuls for the school's involvement in the project were the escalating demands of partners from among cooperating private entities (companies) on the language competence of teachers, pupils and graduates.
