The main objective of the project was the professional and personal development of the participants, thus facilitating their transition to their first qualified job. Another objective, which has a greater impact for the school, was the professional development of the school staff (language and professional competences), both in the context of shadowing and teaching placement. The project was planned to run from November 2020 to August 2022. It was directed to a greater extent to English-speaking countries, for different disciplines, including medical. Unfortunately, the structure of disciplines and the dates of the trips had to be changed due to the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine (the parents of the students were afraid to send them to Slovakia or Poland for the internship). Due to the increased number of Erasmus+ applicants and the increased number of refugees in Ireland, it was not possible to find suitable jobs or accommodation. We were able to implement both long-term mobility placements after changing the field and location of the placement. We completed 37 short-term mobilities. One of the planned professional development mobilities took place.
