Objectives

All participants of international activities always receive certificates after their completion (certificates of completion of a practical internship abroad, certificate of acquired experience, ECVET assessment) and Europass – mobility, confirmed by the sending and receiving organization with a specific description of acquired competences. Their mobilities are also recorded in the European Language Passport. We want to continue to strengthen contacts with existing partners and expand partner foreign organizations, while using the good experience of partner schools and chambers of commerce. We implement all the outputs from international projects into existing and innovative school educational programs of the relevant fields of education, namely fields with a teaching certificate and a matriculation exam. They are significantly more European-oriented, including cooperation in the EU, an emphasis on European values, etc. We want to continue this activity. We consider the international aspect of the content of education and the development of not only professional but also intercultural competences to be very essential, current and necessary these days. The school has gradually implemented European and international topics into the school curriculum, it also connects these topics in the form of modular education, within the framework of several school years and within the framework of inter-subject relationships, including regular project days. We plan to continue this activity and also gradually get involved in other activities that will increase the European and international dimension of the school (e.g. further hosting of lecturers and teachers from abroad - especially with the use of practitioners from foreign companies, teachers of specialized subjects and practical teaching from of our partner schools in the countries of the European Union, which we would also like to use to support the teaching of a professional - so-called professional language; further participation in international competitions, development of contacts with international institutions; gradually introduce the use of CFEC to assess the extent to which our pupils have mastered international competences. In the area of intercultural competences, we plan to further develop the intercultural competences of pupils and teachers who take part in international projects and, through them, everyone else. We emphasize the transfer of foreign experience to teaching and the running of the school, so that the benefit from mobilities is also for others who they have not yet had the opportunity to go on a practical internship abroad.

Background

International cooperation is a fixed part of the school's concept as a strategic goal - to support the school's project activities and is based on the Long-Term Plan in the field of internationalization. We ensure the modernization of school educational programs and the content of education in all fields of education at our school, adapting them to the needs of real practice with the transfer of good experiences from international projects and abroad. We pay attention to a greater connection between language and professional education, which will continue incl. the expansion of CLIL and the introduction of a new vocational subject taught partly in a foreign language. Together with the increase in the use of modern technologies in teaching and the support of further education of teaching staff in the form of professional development of teachers - job shadowing, we expect better employment of graduates on the European labor market.
