The objectives of the implemented project are based on our strategic documents – the European plan of development and European internationalization strategy, in which - based on our needs - we determined the key areas of the school´s development. Our aim is to implement internationalization activities and so familiarise our students with the multicultural dimension of today's Europe. Objective 1: - to support professional education of students and teachers including cooperation with partner schools and employers both in our country and abroad - to look for suitable work positions for students of all our fields of study Objective 2: - to prepare our students as well as possible for their professional life, to teach them independence, sense of teamwork and enable them to improve their communication skills in a foreign language, including professional vocabulary Objective 3: - thanks to the experience gained - help our students to find their way on the labour market and bring new methods of work Objective 4 - to keep young people in our region, to ensure they do not leave our region because of work and that they use the practical knowledge, which they have gained, in this area
Erasmus+ activities are already an strategically important area of our school and constantly bring sustainable added value. Currently the school is implementing several projects, the main feature of which is systemic linking of students´ internships with the teachers´educational mobility, based on the development of personal competences, as the ability to communicate in a foreign language and use this when teaching professional subjects. The Erasmus+ activities, as they put the accent on being active, play an important role in supporting the realization of new vision -"A School that Connects". Our school wants to connect theoretical knowledge of our students with practical tasks and dares to send the students to explore the European labour market. Every year we find new partner organizations to get good internships for all students. The biggest motivation to keep applying for such a project is seeing happy and excited faces of our students, who return from their work experience abroad. We are proud of their achievements, we watch them mature and make progress in their personal development. This work experience from abroad is also appreciated by our partner companies and contributes to better employability on the labour market.
