Objectives

Establishing a meaningful integration of digital tools within the education system is crucial. It entails more than superficially acknowledging their presence; rather, it necessitates the development of a sustainable framework that genuinely embraces their effective utilization. The Covid19 crisis has effectively shown us how important it is to be prepared for any potential obstacles and how essential it is to integrate the digital world into the real world. With the help of this project, it was supposed to prepare students and teachers for the new age, that will not get by without the use of digital technologies. The much needed digital literacy needed to be raised in order to accomplish the aforementioned tasks and issues. It was also essential to improve our capacity in the digital learning fields in order to combat the weakness of our institution, which is the lack of 21th century competencies, digital communication and digital content production. Our focus was also on fostering digital inclusion for underprivileged youth. We aimed to provide them with essential digital skills that would increase their employability and enable them to thrive in the digital age We saw the potential of digital tools in revolutionizing education. Our goal was to transform traditional teaching methods by incorporating innovative digital tools that engage students and enhance their learning experience

Background

The project's objectives align closely with the critical need to address the deficiency of digital skills and the absence of digital values within the curriculum of countries participating in the project. The imperative lies in incorporating digital skills and embracing digital tools, recognizing that we are now operating within an era driven by information. Our goal was not merely to equip students for future employment, but rather to cultivate a mindset that embraces continuous learning and adaptability in the face of emerging challenges. It is evident that digital literacy will play an integral role in shaping this future landscape. The rise of the digital era requires an open mind, a new approach and new set of skills that this project provided as our teams were diverse, but united in one goal - to improve ourselves and others. We aimed to bridge the digital gap among different generations in our community. Our objective was to empower seniors with digital skills, making them confident users of technology to enhance their daily lives We have sparked the interest in digital technologies within some of our colleagues and within many of our students. We have raised the digital awareness, security, content creation and much needed balance of using these technologies and skills that we have acquired throughout the project. This has brought on the much needed innovation in the digital field.
