The intention of the project is to exchange experience, compare existing knowledge and, above all, increase professional skills in the field of traditional crafts with the professional participation of representatives of the business sphere. Within the framework of the project, 5 different projects in 5 days of involved subjects will be implemented. Within the project, an exhibition of products will always be organized, the manufacture of local products by students under the guidance of an expert, a visit to a specialized workplace focused on traditional industries or products, acquaintance with the learning environment of relevant partner. Each activity is attended by 4 students and 2 staff members from each participating partnering country, with a total of 24 students and 12 employees +3 employees of the Chamber of Commerce at every event. There is a total of 15 staff. The output of the project will be products created and presented in 6 exhibitions. Produced information posters will be summarizing the region in both, printed and electronic form, and its traditions or traditional elements. Further information will be provided via brochures and calendars mapping project outputs. Long term impact will also be seen in more successful pupil work placement on the labour market. Based on the work experiences with companies, we assume students will have more opportunities to gain employment due to professional knowledge and experiences, and it is a presumption for longer-lasting cooperation or even start of own business. The factual impact could be a number of work licences in various craftmanship areas and/or signed work contracts. A teacher could create more study materials based on gained experiences and activities. To follow up on the cooperation, partners could agree on continuous work. In the long term, there could be more projects with higher numbers of activities and cooperation. Within the implemented activities and reports including promotional ones that will be continuously presented in the future, there is a possibility of higher interested to study at those schools.
The intention of the project is to exchange experience, compare existing knowledge and, above all, increase professional skills in the field of traditional crafts with the professional participation of representatives of the business sphere. During five days learning course, which the students will be exposed to the learning environment of a given partner country, get a grasp of how to make a region-specific product under the guidance of a professional, and afterwards present their skills in the form of an exhibition of products that they have made during the implementation of the project that are typical for individual region. During the training, learning and teaching sessions, students can try out many interesting activities, make their own product in cooperation with students from the host country, practise and improve their language skills and make new friendships. At the same time, they have the opportunity to gain confidence in communicating abroad, making presentations on stage during the Festival of Traditions, learning a lot of new things about their own traditions and gaining respect for the history of the country. Through this project we wanted to remind traditional values and the importance of selected crafts.
The aim of the project is to increase professional skills of students via exchange experience, comparation of existing knowledge and practical training through professional participation of the business sector in traditional craft. Traditions and traditional crafts, which are very important for every country, are very much forgotten. Crafts were and are very necessary, and young people should know the original crafts of their country and region, and they should appreciate the history of their country. With this project we targeted young people - secondary school students, but also their teachers, for whom this knowledge is a challenge to pass it on to the next young generation. At the same time, by organising Festivals of Traditions in each country, the public was also introduced to the traditions of the partner countries. At the same time, the project was a motivational tool to attract young people to craft professions.
