Our students at the vocational school for hotel and tourism management have to complete internships in Germany and abroad in appropriate training companies to fullfill the requirements of their three years of training. These studenst are very interested in going abroad and complete their internships at hotels, cultural organizations, sports and other leisure time organizers. The group of our partners who work with us could be expanded to companies in Portugal, Spain, Greece, Ireland and Italy. This has also happened on the initiative of our students, who, with the support of our teachers, have searched, evaluated and recommended partner companies independently. This allowed the selection and quality of the partner companies to be increased significantly. This continuous growth in quality and number of partners will be one of our main goals in the future.
In our opinion, it is essential for our trainees in the tourism sector to gain experience in European neighboring countries, since international and European exchange improves professional opportunities. This experience would be limited by staying within national borders . The goals of the mobilities are therefore that in different European countries and different organizations or companies working methods, training methods and different cultural ways of life are compared and experienced. Not to be forgotten is the impact of international projects on working fields with a shortage of applicants. We hope that additional attractiveness for working in the dual sector can be created.
