Objectives

In addition to the cooperation between the trainers and teachers in the training course conferences and examination boards, this project will further deepen the cooperation. The Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Chamber of Crafts show great interest in these exchanges. All project partners also cooperate with our school within the framework of European educational projects (ErasmusPlus). Within the framework of this project, the links between our project partners and companies were strengthened and expanded. The participants were able to get to know different diagnostic procedures in order to diagnose and maintain systems during job shadowing. Testers with specific diagnostic software, computer-based information systems for system analysis and measuring devices for analysing system-relevant variables were used. The participants realised that when testing and repairing electrical and electronic systems abroad, it is important to observe the specific regulations of the respective country. In addition, the design of certain technical equipment was different with consequences for practice.

Background

The Leopold-Hoesch-Berufskolleg is a technical vocational college specialising in metal technology, refrigeration technology and automotive mechatronics. Internationalisation is a high priority for all educational partners. In this context, the Leopold-Hoesch-Berufskolleg is very interested in the continuous development, adaptation and internationalisation of its learning content in order to keep up with current developments and thus maintain the professional skills of its trainees at a high level. The participants in this project, teachers and trainers, are directly involved in the vocational training. They teach the relevant subjects or are involved in in-company training. The handling of hybrid systems is a central focus of the training. Through this project, the participants gain a broader horizon of experience than would be possible through normal school or company activities. For this central examination-relevant topic, the international exchange of experience is an important enrichment for the design of lessons and practical examinations.
